Upon entering our office, our Receptionist will welcome you and obtain any necessary information to complete your intake process.  Please bring a photo ID and/or insurance cards.


What to expect on your first visit

Medical History & Consultation

You will have a consultation with Doctor to discuss your health concerns and goals and all potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for the Doctor to learn more about you, your condition to determine how or which of our services may benefit your health.


Examination

After your consultation, the Doctor will perform a detailed examination including vital signs, orthopedic & neurological testing, flexibility, strength posture and balance. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.


Special Testing

Please bring any recent test results or reports to your first appointment for review.

Depending on your specific condition we may recommend X-rays, labs or other diagnostic imaging to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you or alert us of any serious conditions.


Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, the Doctor will give you a report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  1. How can you help me?
  2. How often do I need to come in?
  3. How soon will I reach my health goal(s)

Treatment

At the conclusion of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first treatment. This may include Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture, modalities or Laser Therapy.  Treatment is supposed to be interactive, so you can express any questions or concerns about the care at any time


Wellness

Prior to leaving, the Doctor may provide follow up instructions to incorporate at home/work.
This may include avoidance of certain activities or positions, use braces or supports and at home exercises or stretches. Every person and their condition may have unique causes and require different care based as they progress.  The care plan is for you to not only recover, but thrive through a high quality diet, physical fitness and by maintaining a positive mental state.
